Afilias' specialized technology makes Internet addresses more accessible and useful through a wide range of applications, including Internet domain registry services, Managed DNS and award-winning mobile Web services.
The Internet Operations Specialist will join the Content Propagation and Resolution team ("CPR"). CPR is responsible for running the DNS of over 10% of the Internet, as well as devising and providing support for emerging protocols on the 'Net. In this role, the Internet operations specialist will design and implement the supporting infrastructure to run name-services applications in a globally distributed environment.
The Internet Operations Specialist may also take an active lead in developing and shaping the future of the Internet by working within the Internet community to define, build and implement emerging technologies.

You may often be required to work outside regular working hours and from remote locations (remote offices, datacenters, home), approximately 10-15% travel, some international.
